Team KNK Announcement

I recently joined Team KNK as a Design Team Associate.  New projects will be posted on Tuesdays and Fridays.  I am looking forward to both sharing and learning.  I highly recommend all die cut crafters mark this as a favorite.

Free File - Rocking Chair

I posted a free file on my website www.cuttinupdesigns.com.  I made this for a friend's birthday card and thought it might be worth sharing.

The file is available in AI, GSD, KNK, SVG, and WPC.

Did you know you can now purchase vinyl right here on the blog?

After several requests, I now have vinyl available for sale.  Check out the list along the right side of the page.  I have outdoor vinyl available as well as pre-cut vinyl decals.  Accepting PayPal on the blog, or credit/debit card by phone (just send me an email and we can take care of the details).  Don't see a color you're looking for?  Let me know and I can probably have it in stock within a week.

Ready for Spring!

I'm thinking of all kinds of spring things to do and make!  Even though its February, this 60 degree weather is making me thing spring.

The mid-February VDBC newsletter has been released.  Please take a look at http://p0.vresp.com/A2inXc.

Who would have thought it?

I cannot believe how much fun I am having giving things away!  Who would have thought it?  Certainly not my husband - who thinks I'm a craft junkie!

Baby Announcements

I made these for a friend - her husband has an old VW Bug and she wanted the theme to be around 70s and the Beetle.  I think we succeeded.

So many moments were shared in Derek’s VW Bug;

all of our first dates, high school dances, and our wedding

we arrived and left in that car.

We are proud to announce another passenger!

Starting to build up my catalog of designs

If you haven't been to the store recently, please stop by and take a look - I have over 40 designs now which is an average of 2 per week since I started with Visual Designs by Chris. Click here to go to VDBCStore.  Since I work full time and take care of a family and horses, dogs, cats, and chickens I figure that's about all I can manage.

Above is a paper piecing design with 13 components (not including the words) and below is a silhouette (one piece design).

Next, I will start working on a paper piecing for this design.  I love girls and horses.
